Reservoirs Serving Balbriggan and Malahide/Portmarnock Dangerously Low

Monday, May 28, 2012

Urgent Notice

Water levels at both reservoirs are dangerously low and there is a risk of the reservoirs running dry if consumption continues at the current rate.

Consumers in the Balbriggan and Malahide/Portmarnock areas are urgently requested to use water as sparingly as possible for the next 24 hours or until repair work is completed on the 30” watermain at Forest Road, Swords.

It would be a great help if all consumers were to use water sparingly.  Further updates will be provided as relevant information comes to hand.
