Traffic Calming for Blackcourt Road, Corduff

The Roads Department have put on display the proposed traffic calming measures on Blackcourt Road, Corduff, Dublin 15.
The Scheme provides for: -
The provision of 6 no. sets of traffic calming speed cushions at the locations indicated on Drawing No. Blackcourt\TC10\01. The Scheme also provides for the provision of appropriate road signage.
Plans and particulars of the Scheme as shown on Drawing No. Blackcourt\TC10\01 are available for inspection from Friday, 9th April 2010 as follows:-
Fingal County Council Offices,                        Monday - Friday          9.30am - 4.30pm
Grove Road
, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

The proposed scheme can also be viewed on-line on the Fingal County Council website: www.fingalcoco.ie/roads

Representations in relation to the Scheme may be made in writing to: Mr. Tommie McManus, Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Fingal County Council,
Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 to arrive no later than 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 12th May 2010.

Fingal Cleaner Communities Awards 2010

Cleaner Communities - Help make Fingal a Cleaner, Greener Place to Live

I am delighted that the council have agreed to re-launch of the Cleaner Communities Awards for 2010. Fingal Cleaner Communities is a countywide competition aiming to make our county a cleaner, greener place to live. The Awards reward residents, community groups and businesses for their efforts in maintaining a litter-free and well presented community or place of business.

Edwina Dunford, Environmental Education Officer, Fingal County Council said “We especially encourage local businesses to enter. We have a broad range of categories, so you can enter your home, your business, your housing estate or indeed even just part of your estate.”

Applications for funding under the Council's Community Arts Funding Scheme have been received from the organisations listed below. It is proposed to make funding available to these organisations, in accordance with the conditions of the scheme, up to the amount set out hereunder:-
