Swords water shortage

A major burst occurred on the 30” watermain at Lissenhall, Swords yesterday 20th October. Council engineers and crew have isolated the burst and are on site carrying out repairs.

Total water loss may be experienced by consumers from Lissenhall to North Street, Swords. Water should be restored by 11pm Saturday October 22nd . 

Tanker Locations: 

•  Balheary Business Campus 
•  Ardcian Estate off Rathbeale Road 

A tanker will be delivered to Emmaus Retreat Centre and another to Lissenhall Veterinary Hospital in the morning. 

In addition there is a burst on the Forrest Road, Swords. Preparation for repair work to this burst is in progress. Repair should be completed by 11pm Monday 24th. Low water pressure may be experienced by some consumers in Boroimhe and Ridgewood on Sunday and Monday.
