St.Mochtas Picnic at Luttrellstown Castle

This year’s Annual St. Mochtas Parish Picnic will be held on Sunday 24th June from 1-8pm.

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Luttrellstown Golf Club the Picnic Funday is being held held in the grounds around Luttrellstown Castle. This is a fantastic day out and a wonderful opportunity to visit the grounds around the Castle. Everybody is welcome.

Tickets are available from the Parish Centre at €10 per family/car which covers admittance, raffle and live entertainment all day.  Events include:

Farmers Market

Vintage Cars and Bikes

Pony Rides

BBQ

Face Painting - Lucky Dip - Bouncy Castles

Bonny Baby Competition

Football Tournament

Sports

Father's Day Special - Tug o War

The Parish Picnic is in its 11th year and is always a great family fun day.    As a result the day is a great opportunity for us to fund raise and you can help by:

1.  Donating any of the following items to sell on the Stalls as part of our fund raising.

New or used Handbags

Jewellery

Your old saucers & plates for a smashing time!

Bottles of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for Bottle Stall

Books, CD’s, DVD’s

Baking:  Homemade Cakes n’ Buns

Any unwanted gifts in good condition that can be used as Bric o Brac or Raffle items.

Or if you wish to donate a prize for our raffle – it would be most welcome.

Items can be dropped before and after mass on Sunday’s or left into the Parish Centre between 9.30 and 12.30 weekdays each morning.

2.  There will be a Tug o’ War competition with teams from different estates in our parish.   We would be grateful if you could organise a team(s) from your estate. Teams of 5 and there will be a Female and Male competition.

3.  This event will require lots of man and woman power, If you are available to help out at any stage of the day with stalls, car parking, games/football , clean up after a fantastic day etc.   Please email your name and contact details to Mary GreeneByrne at pastoralcare@stmochtasparish.ie.
