Fingal Water Cut Offs

Tuesday, July 3, 2012

Please see below details of water outages that will affect parts of the Fingal area today. Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.

Airport Area: Works are being undertaken in the vicinity of the R132 at Cloghran. As a consequence some consumers may have low pressure or even total water loss between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm today.

Main areas affected are: Cloghran, Collinstown, Dardistown, Harristown and possibly some adjoining areas.

North Road Area: It is intended to carry out some essential maintenance in this area on Wednesday of this week between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm approximately and as a consequence it will be necessary to turn off the Kilshane pumps. This is likely to mean that there will be reduced water pressure in the areas listed hereunder. If demand is very high some of these areas may even experience total water loss during these hours. Consumers are therefore requested to use water as sparingly as possible.

Areas affected: North Road, Airport Logistics Park, St. Margaret's, Coldwinters, Coolquay, The Ward, Kilsallaghan, Thornton and also areas adjoining.

Update Wednesday at 4.30pm North Road Area:
Work has been completed in this area and the water is switched back on. Unfortunately the Ward Tower drained during the day and it will take it some period of time to refill. As a consequence it may take a number of hours for water to get back to some consumers especially those at the end of network lines. This could especially affect the Spricklestown Area.

Areas affected: North Road, Airport Logistics Park, St. Margaret's, Coldwinters, Coolquay, The Ward, Kilsallaghan, Thornton and also areas adjoining.
