Boundary Committee Invite Submissions By January 25th

In November the The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Mr. Phil Hogan, T.D., has established a committee to review local electoral areas as part of the reforms proposed for local government. The committee is to report not later than 31 May 2013.

The Boundary Committee have now advertised inviting submissions from the public. Submissions should be sent by e-mail to:boundarycommittee@environ.ie or by post to:

Blanchardstown water outage

There is a burst water main on Church Avenue, Blanchardstown. A crew is on the way to carry out repairs but we cannot estimate yet how long the repairs will take. At this stage we believe that the following areas are affected: Church Avenue, Ramor Park, St. Patrick's Park and Hazel Lawn. Further updates will be provided.

Annual Policing Plan for 2013

The Minister for Justice and Equality, Alan Shatter TD, yesterday laid the Annual Policing Plan for 2013 before the Houses of the Oireachtas. 

Towards the end of each year, the Garda Commissioner must submit to the Minister a Policing Plan setting out the proposed arrangements for policing the State for the following year.
